墨西哥新妈妈百佳妇产分娩记

Our birth experience was a unique journey that we are happy we had undergone at Baijia Maternity.

分娩是一次独特的旅程，我们很高兴在百佳妇产经历了这一切。

When we first visit the hospital we felt right away this was the perfect place for us to have our little one. We were received by Dr. Hati Sema, director of the International department, who gave us an extensive tour and solved all our questions. The facilities were brand new and the hospital philosophy as well as services, were very in tune with what we were looking for.

我们在第一次来到医院的时候，立马就觉得这是迎接我们小生命非常棒的地方。国际部主任海蒂•塞玛接待了我们，她领我们全面地参观并解答了我们的问题。医院的医疗设备很新，其理念和服务都和我们的期望所吻合。

We decided to do our prenatal checkup and delivery both here as we were looking to do everything in the same hospital. We can’t speak highly enough of the medical team and staff that were next to us throughout those 7 months and that gave us the best possible service. 

我们决定在这里做产检和分娩，是因为我们希望整个过程能在同一家医院完成。再多的溢美之词都无法表达我们对百佳的医护人员的感激之情，他们在这7个月以来一直陪伴着我们，并尽职尽责地给予我们优质的服务。

Furthermore, they did their best to create a personalized prenatal package that allowed us to have a more accessible price as the prenatal package was not going to be cover by our insurance. We deeply appreciated this, and we were amazed on how the hospital was really running based on our needs rather than on our pockets.

另外，因为我们的保险不含产检套餐，因此他们尽力提供实惠的个性化产检套餐，这份用心让我们十分感激。我们惊喜地发现，这家医院是实实在在基于我们的需求考虑，而不是一味的从我们身上谋求利益。

Fortunately, we had a non-complicated pregnancy, but for the last couple months I had a gastrointestinal problem and our OB-GYN dr. Lin Lianlian, did not stop until she found the best possible care for me. We are very grateful for her dedication and willingness to make me feel better. Every prenatal checkup was complemented by one-to-one prenatal classes on labor, delivery, baby care and emotional changes throughout pregnancy. We felt that our care was cover both from a medical point of view and also from a psychological-emotional one. 

所幸在怀孕期间我并无大碍，但在最后几个月时我遇到了肠胃问题。我们的妇产科医生林莲莲一直努力为我找寻合适的治疗方案。我们很感激她为了让我感觉好受点而做出的努力。在百佳，每次产检后都伴随着一对一的产前课程，让我们更多地了解待产、分娩、婴儿护理和孕期情绪波动。我们觉得医院提供的照护不仅仅是从医疗的角度出发，同时也涵盖了心理情感的方面。

Furthermore, every week I attended Bumpercise classes where I receive lots of great advises on how to care for my body during and after pregnancy, as well as stay in shape during those months.

此外，我每周都参加韵律操的课程，在课上我收获了许多良好的建议，了解在孕期和产后如何照顾我的身体，并在那几个月内保持好身形。

The last month, as our delivery approached, the medical team discussed in detail with us our birthing plan, they explained all our options and did their best to match our requests to their medical advises.

在最后一个月分娩将近之际，医疗团队和我们仔细地探讨了分娩计划，他们解释了我们有哪些选择，尽最大努力将医疗建议与我们的要求相结合。

 I got to meet with all the medical staff (doctors, midwives, anesthesiologist, and nurses) that was going to be present during my delivery, and this gave me a great peace of mind as I like to meet the people that will take care of me and have the chance to chat with them. Our little one arrived two weeks earlier, so I am happy that we discussed all our birth plan with enough time.

我和即将参与分娩的所有医疗人员会面（医生，助产士，麻醉师和护士们）。这些使我感到特别的安心，因为我希望和将要照顾我的人见面并熟悉了解他们。因为我们的小宝贝提前了两周到来，所以我很高兴我们有足够的时间完成了分娩计划的讨论。

My labor was a long one as I started contractions very early in the morning and kept going for two days. I was monitored as soon as I started contractions and then I went back home to labor for a while. In the meantime, I was contacted by the hospital every hour to check on me and see how the laboring was proceeding. Finally, when we decided to reach the hospital and got admitted, we had our team waiting for us and offering all the help needed to make us feel at home and to be relaxed at hospital during those hours, my husband and I really felt like we were having a home birthing experience.

我的待产过程很长，因为我从一清早就开始宫缩然后持续了两天。从我开始宫缩时医生就开始监控我的情况，之后我回到家里待产了一段时间。与此同时，医院每隔一个小时就联系我以察看我的情况并了解待产的进程。终于，等我们到医院时候，百佳医疗团队已经做好准备等候我们，他们给予了一切帮助，让我们感觉像在家一样，能轻松度过分娩过程。

Dr. Hati was our doula and she made sure that we had everything we needed to have a calm labor. She helped us with aromatherapy and pain management strategies as well as laboring in water as the contractions progressed.

海蒂是我们的导乐，有了她的帮助，我们才能经历这一次平静的分娩。她对我们使用了香薰疗法和疼痛管理策略，以及在宫缩加重时在水中分娩。

Once we got to the active labor, our midwife Zhu Hai Rong was there supporting me with all her energy and enthusiasm. Both her and Dr. Hati made me and my husband felt supported and loved in such a challenging time. They even helped me get my makeup and hair done as I wanted to look nice for my first photo with baby! It was an intense time but definitely a joyful one.

一进入活跃产程，我们的助产士朱海红用她所有的能量和热情支持着我。在这个有挑战性的时刻，她和海蒂都让我和我丈夫感觉到支持和爱。为了让我和宝宝的第一次合影好看些，她们甚至还帮助我化妆、整理头发！那是一个紧张但充满喜悦的时刻。

As my delivery approached, we realized baby was coming on occipital position so my husband and I opted for a C-section after discussing our options with the medical team. The surgery performed by Dr. Lin and Dr. Li Hong went smoothly and lasted only 6 minutes. Baby Olivia was born the 17 of April at 22.22 with 2.77kgs and 50cms.

随着分娩的临近，我们意识到宝宝是处于枕后位，所以我和丈夫在与医疗团队讨论后选择了剖腹产。由林医生和李红医生操作的手术进行顺利，只用了6分钟。 宝贝Olivia于4月17日22点22分出生，重2.77千克，身长50厘米。

Fortunately, I had a fast recovery and our stay in the hospital after the delivery was super helpful. I got a lot of help and support from the duty nurses, specially regarding the breastfeeding and milk production. This is a challenging and somehow painful time, but every single nurse was empathic and patient to help me learn little by little.

幸运的是，我恢复得很快，我们在产后住院期间也得到了很多帮助。在班护士给予我很多支持与帮助，尤其是在哺乳和产奶方面。这是一段具挑战性、也有些许痛苦的时光。但每位护士都善解人意，悉心帮助我一点一点地学习。

Olivia was also regularly monitored by the pediatrics team and we got a lot of info and advices regarding baby care.

Olivia得到了儿科医生团队的定期监测，我们也得到了很多关于照顾宝宝的信息和建议。

We cannot recommend enough Baijia Hospital, as our overall experience was really amazing. As foreigners, having a baby in China can be somehow a challenge, specially if it is your first one, but having a reliable and trustworthy team on our backs gave us a great peace of mind. The human approach they had made us feel supported throughout these months.

百佳医院给了我们非常棒的分娩经历，我觉得无论多么强烈推荐都不为过。作为外国人，在中国生宝宝在一定程度上是很有挑战性的，尤其当你还是一名初产妇，但是有这样一个值得信赖和可靠的医疗团队在我们身后会让人安心。他们以人性化的方式使我们在数月来都感受到了支持。
